Born and raised in Halifax it has always been my dream to own a dental clinic and provide dental care to my family, friends, and the community that I am a part of. We are a small family owned and operated practice and provide treatment to patients of all ages. We are accepting new patients and can’t wait to welcome you to the dental family!
Dr. Ola's Dental Journey
Dr. Ola completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree at Dalhousie University in 2016. Upon graduation Dr. Ola worked in numerous rural communities in Newfoundland and Labrador as well as in an urban setting in Ottawa, ON. She has experience working in private practice treating patients of all ages as well as in hospitals where she mainly treated children and medically compromised patients.
Returning To Practice in Halifax
In 2020, Dr. Ola and her husband moved back to Halifax, her hometown. In 2022 she became the owner and Principal Dentist, of Dentistry on the Commons. Dr. Ola and the team at Dentistry on the Commons are proud to be a small family-owned and operated private practice. Dr. Ola and her team are excited to meet you and look forward to creating healthier smiles for the whole family.
Hello, I’m Dr. Ron Rix
Associate Dentist
Dr. Rix completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree at Dalhousie University in 1994. He has been a part of Dentistry on the Commons since the beginning. Dr. Rix enjoys practicing all aspects of family dentistry as well as providing dental implants for his patients. Outside of work he is a man of many hobbies. Outside of work Dr. Rix can be found spending time with his family, working on his farm, or pursuing one of his many hobbies.
